This custom wood, concrete, and steel dining table was made for a private collector in St. Louis, Missouri. Using the client’s provided dimensions, I was given full creative freedom to design a truly one-of-a-kind statement piece. While traveling, I came across some buffalo head nickels at a souvenir shop and decided they would make unique inlay detail, so I cast them into the table’s edge and a top corner; the design is completed with a solid walnut centerpiece, with hickory accent striping, and cast-in steel edges that wrap the ends and tie into the sturdy steel base.
